You know, I'm with PP. Sending a thank you note is a nice, gracious thing to do. I definitely wouldn't vilify someone who didn't get the chance to send them. But if you're going to do it, do it the right way. Having people address envelopes, it's kind of sending the message, [b]"Make doing this dumb chore as easy as possible for me ok!" [/b]But I don't know, I actually like writing heartfelt thank you notes and even addressing them!![/quote]

That's actually the point. And even the point of most of the gifts she'll get. Caring for a baby is tough work so we're there to make her experience easier and enjoyable.
