White kids in DC score higher on the SAT than white kids in every other state. The scoring gap between AA and white students in DC on the SAT is the largest in the country at over 400 points on a 1600 point scale. If tests like these were used for admittance as they are at other STEM magnet schools, the demographics would skew very heavily white. [/quote]
