What I miss are the sitcoms that a family can watch together. I remember being allowed to stay up and watch The Cosby Show on Thursday nights at 8pm with my parents and then hgoing to bed. Other nights it was Growing Pains, Family Ties, Different Strokes etc. We don't have that anymore. All of the sitcoms are clearly for adults while the shows on Disney Channel are clearly not. Sitcoms in the 80's were for the whole family.
I agree with this! There isn't much on that a family can watch together. I agree that I never liked Everybody Loves Raymond. And, I never really got into Seinfeld either. I do like Modern Family and The Middle though. King of Queens is great. Big Bang Theory I loved Kate and Allie (yeah, flame away).
