It's a great book. Other favorite rereads of mine are Dr Zhivago and Outlander.
What a collection.
I gather you are being sarcastic. Books are portable magic as per Stephen King. I'm not a book snob. Outlander got me through a flat on my back period in a pregnancy. Flat on my back is a level beyond bed rest. Think bed pan. http://www.booktrust.org.uk/books/writing/online-writer-in-residence/blog/558/
No, I wasn't being sarcastic -- I apologize. I was just marveling at the idea of Gone With The Wind, Dr. Zhivago, and Outlander, all on the same list.
Thanks. All have epic romances and history. I also like Helprin's A Winter's Tale, Michener Centennial, Uris Trinity& Exodus. Go to reads for airplane travel are my fav DC detective Alex Cross. And yes I was disconcerted with Morgan Freeman and Medea playing my fav character in film.
