As a mom of a child who needs to exercise in the morning due to his ADHD, if he chose to shoot hoops in OUR driveway at 6:30am I would welcome it! And if you as my neighbor came to me to complain, I would ask you to spend  20 mins with my DS while he is struggling to do his HW and focus because he has not expended enough energy and his serotonin levels are out of whack.

Well, OP must already live in the suburbs or might-as-well be NWDC suburbs if there's any hoop shooting going on on private property around her.

While we're all sorry for the many tribulations you and your son have gone through as the result of his ADHD, it's still your responsibility to keep him from disrupting the activities of others. There's no way 6:30 is an appropriate time to make noise that others can hear in their own homes. [/quote]
