I'm not sure why I'm getting worked up about this; it's like I'm the CEO of the company or something... :) But anyway - here are some of the dresses I have. You may not like them, but they are not frumpy. They're very casual. I wore them all summer, taking the kids to the park or hanging around the house after work. I'm a size 6. My husband thinks these are some of my sexiest (non-going out dressed up) clothes. FWIW. And they are all above the knee - I'm 5'7. http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=50004&vid=1&pid=408961012 http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=50004&vid=1&pid=553294022 http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=50004&vid=1&pid=553310002
Haha, it was this exact Bahia Border Dress that completely ruined Athleta for me and made me feel frumpy. I'm 5'9" and have a 34" inseam and this dress grazed my knee. I had such high expectations. The length was not exactly the problem, but it was pretty shapeless. I'm a 6 as well. To each his own, but I find nothing sexy about these clothes. They are very suburban and unoriginal and just blah. Don't get me wrong, it is better than 90% of what I see out there on DC women, but that is a pretty low standard.
