sorry but the kitchen is not very well done. Cabinets look like they are stock should be inset cabinets to the ceiling; if you want to put a soffit up ok so that cabinets are not so high but hanging a couple of upper cabinets in a kitchen doesn't work in that price range. Overall, very underwhelmed....
First off those are full overlay, and how do you propose making cabinets touch the ceiling if the ceilings are 10 feet tall with double crown molding
That was my point. At that price point one does not expect full overlay cabinets in the kitchen. They should be bespoke full face frame cabinets with an inset door, and the inset door should have some heft to - i like 5/4 doors. If you want to have a built in look you build a full cornice over the cabinets. So let's call it about a foot - you have a 3 1/2 or so crown, a 6-8 inch frieze, built out a soffit, and then a bedmold. The bedmold can be the terminating molding on the cabinets, bringing their height to about 9 ft. You build a double upper - upper top is usually about 18 inches by the time you have the two rails and a door bringing the top of your upper to about 7 ' 6". Throw glass in the uppers and light them with recess cans for affect. Its' done all the time. Who ever did this kitchen doesn't get it. Way too many dollars on appliances, not enough on the cabinets. I personally prefer something like this....although this looks like its only a nine foot ceiling. It should be a microwave drawer under the counter and a regular mirowave over the counter.
