While that is true for the most part, Williams does have a lot of respect for Azarenka and is very complimentary of her play.  Right now, Azarenka is the only one who can consistently give Williams a battle.  The difference between #1 and #2 is far smaller than the distance between #2 and the rest of the field.  Even Sharapova is a distant 3rd and really not much competition for either Azarenka or Williams.  Li is the real world #3 and still has a pretty bad record against the top 2 (while she has a 4-6 record against Azarenka, Azarenka has won the last 5 meetings from 2011 on).[/quote]
