Nope.  I am from Northern VA (McLean).  So, I guess this can lead us into the question of whether Northern VA is southern or not, but. ..

Cute little bob haircuts - yes, those are fine too.  In fact, my own DD has a short little bob hair cut (but no bangs) so we part it to the side and pull one side up and put a bow in it to keep it out of her eyes.[/quote]
