I wouldn't bat an eye at that.  of course they are going to be there - and it's public so they have very right to be there-- but amidst 2400 public kids you are not going to hear your child complaining of the special treatment that Mrs. So-and-so's kid got when you are one of 24 in a grade and you are paying full freight.
