OP again, these are always tough choices. Impossible to know whether a child will be available for learning in a mainstream environment, but we never know until we try.
Since you are currently at a school that meets all of your child's needs, why not stay until your kid is old enough for a complete neuropsych evaluation, 6/7 yrs old, and go from there. The neuropsych eval will give you a clear picture of what supports and services your kid needs or not to succeed in school and asking Maddux for school suggestions is also a better idea than asking random strangers who do not know your child for suggestions. Not to be mean but from your list of criteria you want in a school, it is not likely that your child will be accepted at a mainstream private school. Most private K require a play date/observation and you have to ask if your child's issues are minor enough that a mainstream school can meet their needs. Why the push to mainstream?
