I know this because they got Disney princess stickers at all of the places where people give children stickers. (I don't know what the boys get -- Spiderman? Star Wars?) I'm guessing they learned in preschool. Which is not to say: It's hopeless! You might as well give in and buy nothing unless it has Dora or Sponge Bob on it! Just that all of this branded, franchised stuff is omnipresent, and all you can do is limit it (if you want to limit it). You can't avoid it completely unless you live self-sufficiently on your own island.[/quote]
