No actually, this is how very, very few people get murdered or raped. Most of those crimes are committed by someone the victim has a personal relationship with -- not a stranger who comes knocking on their door. This is, however, how burglaries happen. And that's why the OP should call the police. Chief Lanier came to our neighborhood association meeting and told us to call in every suspicious thing. The police will decide if it's worth following up on. There could have been 5 other calls about this same guy this week. Maybe you're being paranoid, but better safe than sorry. There are a lot of burglaries in DC.[/quote]
