Unfortunately, many companies are asking for an advanced degrees to obtain promotions. Registered Nurses now must have a bachelor's instead of an associate's degree which puts many associate's nurses with decades of experience ineligible for advancement if they do not return to school. Not saying a bachelor's is not a good thing but give me decades of experience any day![/quote]
