So is it your assertion, as it obviously is OP's, that there is some connection between a problem with crime on one particular trail and the "walkability" of the entire city?  Please explain how the two things are related.  This idiotic logic - conflating one incident or one area with the relative safety of an ENTIRE city - is what I have a problem with.
