They're not worrying or thinking ahead, and they assume "someone" will pay for their food, medical bills, etc. Sadly, finances aren't the main problem, although it's a large one, because they will get some assistance. These kids will likely grow up with no contact or very limited contact with their dad, other than one of these TV interviews.
