We "could" afford it and are in the same income bracket as many families in private schools but 60K a year for 2 kids would mean downsizing, saving less for retirement, saving less for college, and taking fewer vacation. If someone came along and said hey I'll give you a voucher for 80%-90% of the cost of private school, the majority of our school would stampede. [/quote]
