I didn't care for how previous owners left the house, I thought it reflected really poorly on them and on the life they must've led there, and was not going to have new tenants move in ready to enjoy our house with grease stains all around the kitchen vent. but you did all this prior to renting it correct?  You didn't have a tenant who had already signed a lease- then you decided to do do all these things.  You did them to improve the value you could get on the rental market[/quote]
