Does it matter where it comes from. That's why at most reputable gyms you have the option to wipe down the equipment again before use (even if people are supposed to wipe down themselves after use). Of all the things that you touch in a day, I'm sure you get more germs from your purse, cell phone, and touching general surfaces than from someone's "anal sweat".
