Has she saved her money? I would recommend that she should buy whatever car she can afford with money she has saved, perhaps doubled by you as an incentive to save. And whatever car she can afford to insure and do maintenance on. I do not recommend gifting a car and then paying for all maintenance for a teen.[/quote]
