I don't know. I applied early enough, I think. My question is completely a hypothetical. If, after all things are factored in- sibs, etc..., will a single digit WL get me a Pre-k 4 slot? I know it's not guaranteed. I also don't think sibs will matter much 'cause most kids get/need the preference for Pre-k 3. Not Pre-k 4. Thoughts anyone?
Not true-having a sibling does matter for PreK4. In fact, this year I know of a few children who are 1st year students at Stokes in the PreK4 class (who did not have a single digit WL#) with sibling preference who came off of the waitlist. At least _ were on the sibling waitlist and at least _ were on the regular waitlist. Some got off of the waitlist once their sibling (in upper grades) got off of the waitlist. This meant that the PreK4 children jump ahead of those kids on the list without a sibling.
