Interesting that you couldn't just let poster 22:27 comment go.....why this manic rush to defend Beauvoir against St. Pats?? And not to belabor this point, but if Beauvoir is so much "better" than St. Pats, than why do so many faculty members from St. Alban's (including AD) choose to send their kids to St. Pat's over B? And I don't buy the argument that they don't want their kids "down the hall." These kids would not even be in the same building with their parent if they went to B, and besides, if B was so far superior to St. Pats, you would think they wouldn't care if their kids' classrooms were next door. The implication here is that a group of academics who clearly have a handle on the education environment in DC, have chosen St. Pats over B for their children's education. This speaks volumes.
Who cares!? This has nothing to do with this thread. Why don't you start a "Why Beauvoir isn't as good as St. Pat's thread" then post all of your comments there b/c clearly that is the goal of every one of your posts. Why must you find the need to constantly compare St. Pat's and Beauvoir? It is like comparing Harvard and Tufts. Both great schools but Tufts is no Harvard just as St. Pat's is no Beauvoir. Different leagues different schools. It doesn't have to mean that St. Pat's isn't a great school.
