This is true for magnets, although I have no idea where the line gets drawn between, say, Whitman and other public high schools. I think, although I don't know, that not all private schools would get rigor points. Some colleges take this even further and apply their own proprietary weighting systems to the individual classes on your kid's transcript.[/quote]
