[/quote] Then try to understand that the bride and her mom (who aren't Jewish) probably had no idea that this might offend you. Since you are the groom's parents, can you host the rehearsal dinner (and pay for it)? That way you can send out your own invitations and invite anyone you'd like? I think that this probably all boils down to a difference in cultures. [/quote]
