I've been wondering how often (if at all) kids get into a higher grade in the lottery and then a sibling wanting a PK4 slot knocks #1 down? Although the more I learn about this crazy process, I guess the highly sought after charters don't have a lot of upper grade slots going to lottery so if you're near the top of the waitlist you shouldn't expect to be knocked too many spots down by siblings.
