Do I spend my time actively thinking about it? Not normally. Do I sometimes lie awake in bed on days where my every neuron is on fire, and I'm staring into a completely unknown future? Sometimes. I do feel like giving me money is a better use of your resources than other things you might spend it on.

I don't see the need for a huge house. It takes up land that may be used for other housing to give more people shelter. It uses up a ridiculous amount of energy and natural resources, costing this nation money.

New cars I feel are only needed when your current one is no longer working, and I really do not like cars that get less than 30mpg.

Whereas I could use the money for medical treatments that would allow me to be a productive member of society. I could try a new leg brace, or buy a scooter so that I can get around my college campus easier. I could to physical therapy, or try acupuncture. I could do so many things that will help me figure out my new place in the world, and where I belong and where I can do the most good and make the most difference.

Please understand that I'm not attacking you (general you here), or how you made your money or what you spend it on. I'm merely venting and ranting about my situation, and despairing the large gap there is between you and me. I'm happy that you lead a comfortable life. I just wish that I could, too.[/quote]
