OP here, thanks for understanding!  I'm glad there are others who get it.  My husband is not a great communicator to begin with, and even worse about work/financial stuff. Calling me bitchy, dumb. or even worse a SAM/trohpy wife (gasp!) is ridiculous.  I'm so far from any of the above (even thought there is nothing wrong with SAMs but it is not for me).  [/quote]

The fact that you (and pp) can't discuss these kinds of things with your husbands is insane!  Looking at internet forums for info about family finances?  Instead of ASKING your husband?  Then again, you probably never see him.  Just - I have no words.
And people are losing their jobs, being furloughed etc - and you don't get why people think you're an asshole?
