I’m an MCPS teacher I’m in a position where I will watch other teachers teach. The low expectations of nearly every teacher with the exception of a very few in MCPS is tragic. It’s a culture of mediocrity. This is especially true for classrooms where the majority of the students are Hispanic and Black. I promise you the difference maker here is the PGCS teachers have more faith in their students and set higher expectations. Period.
