My guess is the 3 hour/4 day a week schedule is a lot of breaks and goofing around, and that asynchronous will be way quicker and smoother.

I'd love to hear any families' experience with doing SMAC: (1) about how many hours to expect (2) if it was painful or reasonably straight forward (3) if you ended up helping your kiddo much (4) if the kid was in a good position going into fall math, jumping a level.

My kid did synchronous online SMAC from my living room in the summer of 2020, and my recollection is that it was actually a pretty solid morning of work. Even in the breakout rooms, the kids were doing math. [/quote]
