What do you mean when you say no one is listening. Are you emailing the head, assistant head, and board and not getting any response? If no one is listening why stay at the school? If all these changes are happening the way they are with no parent involvement, right before binding date, it seems intentional. Clearly, the school isn’t taking family concerns seriously.
Sounds like this was a recent meeting so families are trying to understand what it means for their DDs. If no one is listening to concerns, families will start looking elsewhere in the fall for the next academic year. There are always a number of students who leave after MS but if people are leaving en masse, that might get someone’s attention. I say *might* because there has been such a high demand for HS spots that they are unlikely to feel the “pain” of families going elsewhere for HS—particularly if the new families coming in have deep pockets and rockstar lacrosse players.
+1 This is the reality now with all private schools. Not just SR. It doesn’t make it right but demand for private high schools is so high and schools won’t and don’t need to make any changes if they don’t feel it in their pockets.
