I mean, you're already up? My husband and I take turns with the dogs but if I have to be up for something then I'll just do the dogs that morning even if it's not "my day." I can see not wanting to do them 100% of the time, but why can't he do evenings if you do mornings?
Because OP works FT. He doesn't. Why doesn't he get his lazy a$$ up and be the sahh he's supposed to be. OP, I work FT. DH doesn't. He "retired" a few years ago. If he said this to me, my head would explode. When he retired early, he said he would be the house husband. That means cleaning, too, but he hates cleaning, and stopped cleaning the bathroom on a schedule. He said, "why don't we get the house cleaners back". To which I responded, "Because you are not working and that's an added expense". He'll only do it when it's filthy and I ask him to do it. When I was a sahm, I cleaned this house, ironed his freaking shirts, and we had young kids at home. Our kids are in college now. So it's not like he has kid duty. I swear, men are just lazier.
