The point is, every year highly qualified kids are accepted to higher ranking, more exclusive schools than UVA, but rejected from UVA. Anyone who goes into the process with a UVA or bust attitude is likely to be disappointed, even if the kid has stats for higher ranked schools or if UVA appears to be a match based on stats and activities.[/quote]
