[/quote] The mother of the 17 year old, and in California you must be 21 years old to possess handguns and semiautomatic weapons. She should have had her firearms locked up in such a way as to be inaccessible to her children or anyone other than herself without her consent and supervision. I hope she’s prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law applicable in California. I am so sick of negligent parents letting their kids access firearms![/quote]
