Taylor chose to spend $70M in THIS budget. Taylor chose to hide the spending deep in the documents so that the Board of Education would vote on it without any public notice, opportunity to be heard or discussion of feasibility. The search for a new bus depot has been gong on for over 15 years. There is no emergency that forced poor Taylor to hide this $70M outlay in the MCPS Capital Budget. He did that all by himself. Taylor has also established a clear disdain for any public process, feasibility studies, transportation studies or data analysis in any of this plans. [/quote]
