I'm not sure what she was hoping to accomplish by posting this and publically embarassing the chairman of the BOS. Meren could have been much more effective as a leader if she had handled this behind the scenes and used some political skills.  Imagine what she could have gotten for the students and staff of FCPS if she had sat down with McKay and come to an agreement instead of a unhinged social media post.   [/quote]

Nope.  From the texts posted, she first asked him to clarify if he was calling her a sexist name.  He could have apologized to her then and there and I 100% believe it would have ended there.  But, no. He doubled down on his language with total disregard.  By posting it, she brought more attention to her cause ..which is that safety of students (even 15 and 16 year old ones at a high school) matter.   [/quote]
