Look, I have no desire to work in this administration's DOJ, but a lawyer's job is to advocate for his/her client, no matter how unpopular the cause. Biglaw will bring all sorts of longshot claims on behalf of their clients because that's what they are paid to do. This administration's DOJ is no different. They may not be causes you or I agree with, and they might be longshots, but they're not anything you're going to lose your law license over. If you don't know how to handle difficult cases that require creative arguments, then you're not a good litigator. [/quote]
