I registered a car a couple of months ago and I didn't have to show any proof of residence, whereas for DCPS I have to show two forms of proof, and I have to re-verify every year. It seems that the benefits of going to the school of your choice are much greater than the benefits of picking your jurisdiction for car registration, and that people would just move their car registration if this sort of verification became routine.[/quote]
