You only need to show ID later if you refused to sign the written confirmatory statement and are thus required to cast a provisional ballot. If you don't have ID and sign the statement, you do not have to cast a provisional ballot and thus do not have to provide ID later. "A voter who arrives at the polling place without an acceptable form of identification [b]or who refuses to sign an ID Confirmation Statement[/b], will be given the opportunity to vote a provisional ballot."[/quote]
