[/quote] Really depends on the kid. We are MOCO. Neighbors' kids are home 2-3 times a month. Spring break not included, my kid hasn't been home this semester, and we likely won't see them until after exams. Last semester, kid came home once (not including breaks) due to being very sick. Kids' friends whose homes aren't far also don't leave on weekends. It's also fun for their HS friends to come visit during their college spring and fall breaks. My kid is having a fantastic experience at UMD![/quote]
