I tried laser and it didn't work for me. I also take spiro for hormonal acne, and I think the issue was just that the chin hairs were for hormonal reasons and the laser didn't work on that. But I don't know for sure, just that it didn't work. Electrolysis worked. I got it done professionally. And it does work on white hairs.

I think the number of sessions and the amount of pain are really YMMV.

The electrolysis people told me to never tweeze because it can make hair growth worse. I was skeptical, but there is research on this. I started using a little razor in between sessions and that's still what I use on any little hairs I still get. (With electrolysis, the hairs get less coarse as you do treatment, so even if you don't keep going to where there's nothing left, it's still much better.)[/quote]
