Several parents in the DMV are paying social media sites or paying someone who works through the social media sites to hypelight their kids I'm not sure of the return on investment other than the views and likes to the IG page benefit and the kid having 18 seconds of fake fame till the next clickbait pops up
I suppose so but at least for the boys, most of the kids I’ve seen highlighted are pretty good.
So the 10 seconds of IG exposure does what exactly? Teach them they need superficial external validation, from people who some don't even really support them
Top Drawer Soccer is legit--coaches do look at who they feature and they tend to feature very good players. Their problem is that their lists very rarely change.... Whoever gets on it by U14/15 is largely kept on it through U19--and then its about players moving up or down some spots. They very rarely add 'new' players ot the top 200--it happens but in the handfuls--not beyond.
Which coaches where are looking at who they feature and what actions do the coaches take?
