If I got the pool letter, is it still helpful providing additional material?
Yes
What kind of material would be helpful? - I have no idea.
The central screening committee is looking for items that would indicate that your student should be in AAP. So submit things that would help strengthen the case that your student should be in AAP. If your student has an area or areas of academic strength, then play to that strength and describe how you have seen this outside of school. Here is a link to the AAP Identification Procedures Manual: http://www.fcps.edu/is/aap/pdfs/localplan/AttachmentCProceduresManualforFCPS.pdf You can see every form used in that manual.
camp certipicate? - isn't it something you can get if you paid for? what kind of camp?
Yes if it was an academic camp. No if it was swimming camp, unless your student exhibited leadership qualities.
award? - what kind could be award is possibly serious for a 2nd grade?
Did your student win a robotics competition? A math contest? (something like that) If not, then skip adding a copy of an award.
