This statement is factually inaccurate. By the end of the year, the kids will have spent just as much time in school as they have every other year. There are legal time requirements mandated by the VDOE. The kids will surpass it, as they always do. [/quote]

You still don't get it. People do not want a calendar full of disruptions. They want the calendar we had just a few years ago where we met the requirements without the school year did not dragging on so long. It's much easier to find childcare in the summer and much better for kids to have a consistent schedule during the school year. [/quote]
