The 'both sides' and 'Dems support Iran" trolls are so pathetic.
It is and they do, and your refusal to open your eyes to reality is what is pathetic. The two parties have aligned themselves against the interests of the average American. Their differences lie only in their rhetoric and methodology. The democrats get nothing of substance done to help us and republicans actively hurt us. But please understand, they both ultimate service corporate and wealthy interests.
I mean, one side is dedicated to ripping you and your children (and your children’s children) off, and making your life worse because desperate people are easier to manipulate, while the other is trying to get you some affordable healthcare. But they’re totally the same.
You sweet summer child. Just because someone says they are trying to do something does not mean they actually are. Democrats have been making this claim literally my entire life. We still have the most expensive healthcare with the worst outcomes of any developed nation. The democrats take the very same healthcare industry lobby money. They tell you what you want to hear, quietly arrange backroom deals to ensure nothing really changes, and they play a game of rotating villains to keep you distracted. At a certain point you have to stop listening to promises and start looking at results. I'm not suggesting there are no differences between the parties. I'm suggesting the difference are not nearly as large or as substantive as many dem voters convince themselves they are. Yes we should elect democrats. But we also need to keep our wits about us and understand they are still playing for the other side (the rich). You can't trust them and only consistent vigilance and public pressure will force them to act in our interests. Constantly mewing about how Republicans are worse is a waste of time. We can demand more of our representatives than mildly better than the people actively trying to kill us.
