What Muslim tradition are you referring to for pronouncing the name Hana? That of Muslims in the USA? Or Central Asia? Malaysia? Pakistan? Saudi Arabia? Nigeria? Egypt? You’re lumping together billions of people with different cultures and native languages. I also can’t speak for all the 2 billion Muslims and their tradition, but can tell you that at least in Arabic, the name Hana comes from Al-Hanaa which means the bliss. And the “a” in “ha” is “aa” no “aw”. [/quote]
