My kid graduated from MCPS and regularly receives A+ on exams and when the average is a C at their top 20 college. Work ethic hasn’t changed regardless of grading policy. Assignments were submitted on time then and now. [/quote] Sure, my kid is the same. 4.0 dual cs/math major from a magnet program. But for the vast majority of students, MCPS policies did not help. I have another DC who is not as academically advanced, and Mcps' policies haven't prepared my DC well for college, and I'm guessing, most students are more like this DC than my 4.0 DC.[/quote]
