I'm the PP at a site outside the Beltway (but still in the same weather paths), we were closed Monday only. If we're open, we never get an unscheduled telework option. I'm pretty depressed at how much annual leave I'm burning just for weather this winter. Looks like I will have to tomorrow as well due to school letting out at 12:30. [/quote]

Because it is open to the public, so we're either fully closed, or everyone is supposed to come in out of solidarity with the people who can't telework. The only time we get "unscheduled telework" is when there is a full closure, or if there is a delayed opening or early dismissal, telework eligible employees are expected to make up time at home to clock a full 8 hours.
