[/quote] Lots of institutions give sibling discounts in order increase their yield. They would rather have 3 siblings for the price of 2x than not have any siblings at all because the family can’t afford to pay 3x. I think a better way to do it is to charge full price for the first 2 siblings and then any other sibling is half off. It’s usually the family with 3 kids that balk at full price for all three. I have two kids, and in my experience, I have paid full price in all or almost all cases. And I think the volunteer requirement by family rather than by kid is standard. It recognizes that there are usually only 2 parents at most for the largest of families. [/quote]
