Tell us you know nothing about how bills are passed in Congress (although I am betting you do).

Here is a primer:
It takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass the DHS funding bill.  Republicans have 53 members.  That means that at least 7 Democrats would have to vote to fund our TSA, Coast Guard, Secret Service, and FEMA employees.  So far, Fetterman is the only reasonable Democrat to ensure that these people are paid,  Chuckie Schumer is telling his members not to vote for this bill because he is beholden to the radical members in Congress and in NY.  He has to appear to be part of "The Resistance."  The "common sense" measures they are pushing for ICE are not common sense at all.  In fact, you can bet if the Democrats claim something is "common sense," it is just the opposite.  Face masks are worn by agents because 1) the radical protesters are trying to dox them and 2) cartels have put bounties on their heads.  And judicial warrants?  That would ensure that no illegal aliens would be picked up since a judicial warrant would only be issued if a FEDERAL law was broken - most of these illegal aliens have violated STATE laws.  But, sanctuary cities and states refuse to pick them up and ensure they are taken off their streets.  [/quote]
