The recent Cabaret staging in NYC included some immersive stuff, and they completely outlawed any pictures or recording, so 1) people were enjoying themselves without being concerned of how it may look on social media and 2) no one was hogging the space and blocking the views for taking pictures, you either participated or moved along.
